Yes, our staff will lead you through the basics of getting started.
To ride an E-bike you can wear your regular biking clothes and shoes; however, we do suggest you avoid clothing that can get caught in the mechanism. SUPs require only that you wear your normal swimming attire. We also suggest you come prepared with sun protection.
We include in our E-bike rentals the bike, helmet, and bike lock. Our stand up paddle boards comes with a board, paddle, personal flotation device, and leash.
At GreenEBikes, we require that are riders be a minimum of 16 years and no more than 275lbs.
The Federal law states that if an electric bike travels no more than 20 MPH and only has a 750W motor, you are not required to have a license to ride one. However, individual states are allowed to impose their own laws on electric bike licensing, so it is best to check your state’s regulations. Our bikes meet both federal and Florida state laws.
Your electric bike will travel for 15-30 miles on one charge. Distance fluctuates according to weight, wind, hills, and weather.
To get a full charge, you will need 4-6 hours, but no more than six.
You can charge your E-bike anywhere there is a regular household outlet. If you ride it to work and want to make sure that it has enough charge to get home, you can plug it in right at the office.
